Egg Belts
Overview
Egg Belts are selected according to egg collection line width, cage layout, conveying distance, operating speed, and cleaning method. The 95–120mm width range fits mainstream layer farming egg collection equipment, while the 1.3–1.5mm thickness balances smooth conveying, tensile strength, and roller contact for egg collection, transfer, and assembly line conveying.
The white belt surface works with the center line and side lines, allowing installers to align the belt directly with the conveying trough, rollers, and running direction. During batch replacement, this helps keep multiple egg collection lines positioned consistently. Once width, thickness, line marking position, and roll direction are standardized, on-site installation becomes faster, while belt wandering, edge curling, increased friction, and eggshell impact are reduced.
For poultry houses with high-frequency operation, a high-strength Polypropylene & Polyester woven structure is recommended. In humid environments with dust, manure, and routine washing, the egg belt maintains an antibacterial, chemical-cleaning-resistant, low-soiling, and easy-rinse surface, helping reduce eggshell residue, conveying resistance, and later cleaning time.

Customization Capabilities
Egg Belts can be customized according to old belt samples, equipment groove width, roller structure, and egg collection line length. Custom options include width, thickness, weave density, center line, side lines, edge condition, roll length, pallet packing, carton labeling, and bulk stocking specifications.
Widths are configured around mainstream equipment sizes such as 95mm, 100mm, 110mm, and 120mm, and can also be adjusted according to the existing equipment mounting groove and conveyor line structure. Thickness is controlled within the 1.3–1.5mm range to maintain a flat belt surface, smooth roller operation, stable tensile performance, and dimensional consistency after long-term conveying.
The center line and side lines can be adjusted according to equipment installation direction, maintenance identification, and multi-line management requirements. Roll format and pallet packing are configured according to the on-site installation schedule. The same batch maintains consistent width, thickness, color lines, weave construction, roll direction, and packing identification, making it suitable for poultry house expansion, old belt replacement, and bulk stocking projects.
Benefits of Egg Belts

High durability
Egg collection belt is made of polypropylene material, which has strong tensile strength and ductility, and can resist all kinds of pressure and friction during transportation, thus prolonging its service life.
Excellent antimicrobial performance
Polypropylene material has strong anti-bacterial and fungal ability, can effectively resist the breeding of salmonella and other harmful microorganisms, to ensure the hygiene and safety of eggs in the transportation process.
Good chemical resistance
Egg picker belt has excellent acid and alkali resistance and corrosion resistance, can adapt to various environmental conditions, not affected by humidity and temperature changes.
Reduced egg breakage rate
The design of the egg collecting belt can reduce the vibration and friction of the eggs during transportation, thus reducing the breakage rate of the eggs. At the same time, the egg picker belt can also clean the dirt on the surface of the eggs during the rolling process, which improves the cleanliness of the eggs.
Easy to clean and maintain
The egg picker belt has a smooth surface, which is not easy to absorb dust and dirt, and can be easily cleaned and maintained. In addition, it can be rinsed directly in cold water, making the cleaning process easier and faster.
Environmentally friendly
The polypropylene material itself is recyclable and meets the environmental requirements, using egg picker tape helps to reduce the generation of waste and reduce environmental pollution.

Application of Egg Belts
Layer Houses
In commercial layer houses, egg belts are installed beneath rows of laying cages or free-range nests to automatically collect eggs as soon as they are laid. The belts are typically made from food-grade, non-abrasive materials such as polyurethane or rubber, ensuring that eggs are transported without cracking or surface damage.
Egg Processing Plants
Within egg processing facilities, egg belts form the backbone of the production line. They transport raw shell eggs from intake areas through multiple stages including washing, sanitizing, candling (crack detection), grading, sorting by size, and final packaging.
Commercial Kitchens
In large-scale commercial kitchens—such as those in hotels, catering services, and institutional cafeterias—egg belts are used to transport pre-packed egg cartons or trays from storage to preparation stations. These systems streamline workflow and ensure a steady supply of ingredients during peak service hours.
Retail and Wholesale Distribution Centers
Distribution centers handling perishable goods rely on egg belts to move packaged eggs—from individual cartons to full pallets—throughout the facility. These belts transport products from cold storage zones to packing areas and loading docks, ensuring rapid and organized dispatch.
Incubators in Hatcheries
In poultry hatcheries, egg belts play a crucial role in transporting fertilized eggs from collection and grading areas to incubation chambers. These belts are designed to maintain the correct orientation of the eggs—typically with the blunt end slightly elevated—to support optimal embryo development.
Types of Egg Belts
Flat Belts
Smooth, continuous belts typically made from food-grade rubber or synthetic polymers. Ideal for horizontal conveying where egg stability is maintained through controlled speed and gentle handling.
Modular Belts
Composed of interlocking plastic (typically FDA-compliant polyacetal or polypropylene) modules connected by rods. Offers high strength and excellent washdown resistance in hygienic environments.
Apron Belts (Flat-Top Belts)
Feature a solid, flat surface with enhanced friction properties, often made from thermoplastic urethane (TPU) or rubber composites. Designed to securely hold eggs in place during transport.
Round Belts
Cylindrical belts typically used in conjunction with pulleys to drive other conveyor components or for light-duty egg positioning tasks.
V-Belts
Power transmission belts with a trapezoidal cross-section, used primarily to transfer mechanical power from motors to conveyor systems rather than for direct egg transport.
Ferromagnetic Belts
Specialized belts embedded with magnetic materials, enabling integration with electromagnetic transfer systems for precise egg positioning and zero-backlash movement.

Egg Belts are manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality management system and ISO 14001 environmental management requirements. Each batch records width, thickness, material composition, weave construction, center and side lines, roll format, inspection criteria, and packing condition, while weaving, cutting, rolling, and packing are carried out according to the same confirmed specifications.
Inspection focuses on tensile strength, thickness consistency, width tolerance, belt surface flatness, edge burrs, skipped yarns, stains, color difference, line marking position, roll tightness, and quantity. Because egg belts are used for continuous conveying, batch shipment inspection focuses on preventing belt wandering, edge curling, loose edges, rough surfaces, and uneven roll formation.
Abrasion and cleaning stability are controlled according to poultry farm operating conditions. After friction, cleaning, winding, and long-term operation, the belt surface remains flat, reducing eggshell friction, conveying jams, and cleaning residue. A full inspection process is carried out before packing, and customers or third-party inspection agencies can complete pre-shipment inspection according to the confirmed standards.
